Economy
Belgium's economy isn't the best in the world. Ranked 14th in the world for national debt (external) with a total of 1.424 trillion dollars. Like most countries, Belgium's government spends more than it collects in revenue each year. Belgium also has an inflation rate of 1.3%, ranked 34th in the world. The value of the US dollar in Belgium's term of Euros has fluctuated over the past few years, now a $0.7634/1 U.S. dollar. Making more money per fiscal year on the countries imports than it's exports; Belgium's economy could definitely be better than it currently is.
